Acid-Fast Bacteria Imaging Services
Acid-fast bacteria (AFB) are a group of bacteria with acid-fast properties. The outer membrane of its cell wall contains 40% to 60% mycobacterial acid. Acid resistance is a physical property, which makes it impossible to decolorize bacteria with acid alcohol bleaching agents after they are stained. Therefore, it is very important to select appropriate fluorescent dyes for imaging analysis of acid-resistant bacteria.

Acid-Fast Bacteria Imaging Analysis
Many human diseases are caused by acid-fast bacteria, among which tuberculosis is one of the most common diseases. Acid-fast staining and microscopy are one of the methods to visually analyze acid-fast bacteria, which can help researchers diagnose and treat diseases caused by acid-fast bacteria. CD BioSciences has been committed to the development of fluorescent dyes and imaging technology for many years. We can develop an automatic imaging and analysis scheme for acid-fast bacteria screening based on acid fast staining and digital wide field microscope.
