Bone Tissue Morphology Imaging Services
Services Overview
CD BioSciences provides clients with accurate bone tissue images and quantitative analysis reports through advanced imaging technology and computer-aided analysis. Our services mainly include cartilage tissue morphology analysis, fracture healing observation, and bone tissue tumor morphology assessment. The quantitative data and results obtained can help clients study the physiological processes of bone tissue, understand the development of bone-related diseases, and evaluate the efficacy of drugs.

Bone Tissue Morphology Imaging Services
Cartilage morphology analysis services
CD BioSciences provides cartilage morphology imaging analysis services to help clients quantitatively and qualitatively characterize the morphology of cartilage such as articular cartilage and epiphyseal plate cartilage. Our services include, but are not limited to:
Bone structure changes due to cartilage loss and articular cartilage area analysis
We will provide our clients with comprehensive reports that include the following commonly analyzed parameters:
- ACV (Articular Cartilage Volume)
Assessment of changes in cartilage tissue through precise measurement of the volume of articular cartilage by imaging.
- Tb.BV/Tb.TV
This parameter is commonly used to assess the ratio of trabecular volume to total volume, providing information on the structural characteristics of the bone.
- Sb.Ch.Th (Subchondral Plate Thickness)
Measures the thickness of the subchondral plate and assesses the structural characteristics of the bone associated with articular cartilage.
Epiphyseal plate cartilage area quantification analysis
By using imaging techniques for quantitative analysis of epiphyseal plate cartilage morphology, we can measure and calculate the actual surface area of the epiphyseal plate cartilage to evaluate the growth and development of the skeleton. The following parameters are commonly used in our deliverables:
- Chondrocyte Number
Calculates the number of chondrocytes in the cartilage of the epiphyseal plate, providing the quantitative analysis of cellular composition.
- BrdU Positive Chondrocyte Number
Measures the number of positive chondrocytes labeled with BrdU (bromodeoxyuridine) and assesses chondrocyte proliferation.

Dental-metal implant analysis services
We can evaluate and analyze the morphological relationship between dental implants and surrounding bone tissue for our clients, providing raw images and quantitative analysis reports that include the following data:
- Metal Eroded Perimeter (Mt.E.Pm)
- Metal Bone Boundary (Mt.B.Bd)
- Metal Bone Interface/ Bone Surface
- Metal Eroded Interface/ Bone Surface
Morphometric analysis of fracture healing
Evaluation and analysis of the morphology and healing of bone tissue during the fracture healing process helps our clients to understand the progress of fracture healing and the extent of bone tissue repair. We will deliver the raw images and osteometrics report, including the following parameters:
- Vessel Number
- Total Callus Area
- Bone Fraction/Total Callus
- Cartilage Fraction/Total Callus
Bone tissue tumor morphology analysis services
Using imaging techniques allows to measure the number and area of tumors in the bone tissue and to characterize the morphological changes caused by the tumors. Raw images and detailed reports containing the following parameters are provided:
- Tu.V (Tumor volume)
- BV/TV
- Tu.V/BV
- Tu.S/BS
- OC.S/BS
