Imaging Monitoring of Biomarkers in Tissues

Imaging Monitoring of Biomarkers in Tissues

Biomarkers refer to biochemical indicators that can mark the structural or functional changes of organs, tissues, cells and subcellular, including nucleic acids, proteins, enzymes, carbohydrates, active molecules, etc. Tissue-specific biomarkers are often used to study pathological changes in diseases or to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new drugs. Therefore, imaging monitoring of biomarkers in tissues is important for disease diagnosis and new drug development.

Imaging Monitoring of Biomarkers in Tissues

The most classical method applied to the detection of markers in tissues is immunohistochemistry, which in most cases uses enzyme-linked antibodies to develop color reactions and examine them under microscope. Although the method is widely used in medical testing, the technique requires very specialized operators and extremely stringent standards, and can only yield semi-quantitative results. Therefore, researchers need to develop imaging techniques that can quantitatively analyze biomarkers in tissues.

CD BioSciences is a biotechnology company, we have extensive experience in finding new biomarkers and monitoring biomarkers in tissues. We can use imaging mass spectrometry quantitative immunostaining technology to provide you with thousands of different molecular images, to quantify and localize biomarkers in tissues. This will help the development of new drugs and the diagnosis of diseases.
