Description:A tissue microarray was created using neuroendocrine tumor samples from multiple organs. It included 20 cases of neuroendocrine carcinoma (carcinoid, atypical carcinoid, and small cell carcinoma) with duplicate cores per case, 2 cases of squamous cell carcinoma, 16 cases of adenocarcinoma with single cores per case, 8 cases of normal tissue, and 5 cell lines with duplicate cores per case.
