Description:This content discusses a microarray for triple negative breast carcinoma and normal tissue. The microarray consists of 102 cases of breast carcinoma with negative results for ER, PR, and Her-2. Additionally, there are 2 cases each of breast carcinoma with positive results for ER+, PR+, and Her-2+. Among the cases, 89 are invasive carcinoma of no special type, 4 are mixed cancer, 8 are medullary carcinoma, 2 each are carcinoid and micropapillary carcinoma, and there is 1 case each of neuroendocrine carcinoma, aggressive adenocarcinoma, and mucinous adenocarcinoma. The microarray also includes 4 samples of breast tissue with a single core per case.
